We are three North Idaho artists using three different media to explore our world to create a unique body of work. Upcoming Classes Friday, March 2 from 12 - 4 Photography Workshop "Macro Photography" ($20.00) Learn the technique for close-up photography. The workshop will include both lecture and practice. We will meet at the K. Haynes Gallery. Contact Nancy at 946-6572 to register for the class. March 3 from 12-2. Painting Fall Leaves in Watercolor ($10.00) Participants will arrange leaves of various colors, sizes and shapes to make a pleasing composition. From the composition, a drawing will be made on tracing vellum and transferred to a good watercolor board, or illustration board (hot pressed). Using color theory and glazing techniques, students will apply washes and build texture to model a painting from their leaf assemblage. Patricipants will receive personal guidance on their watercolor paining of fall leaves. Download Materials List Gallery Hours Fridays and Saturdays Free Gallery Talk Saturday, April 7th at 2 pm at the K. Haynes Gallery with guest artists Vicki Bleile and Mary Dufur. Vicki and Mary will demonstrate "Egg Decoration" and how they paint beautiful subjects on eggs. Gallery is open Friday, April 6th and Saturday, April 7th from noon to 4 pm. Linda Lorraine Wolfe - www.wolfedesign.com Linda works as an artist/graphic designer spanning a 25 year career. Linda uses a dry brush watercolor technique to create her finely detailed botanical paintings.Her illustrations have been selected for publication in several gardening books and exhibited and sold in galleries and juried shows. Wendy McClintock - 208.267.2570 Wendy employs a fluid watercolor approach in painitng predominately floral and landscape subjects. She teamed up with Kathereine and Zoltan Szabo to conduct watercolor workshops. Nancy L Russell - http://nancyrussell.photoshelter.com Nancy is a freelance photographer specializing in capturing the beauty of wild places, wildlife, and wildflowers. Nancy's images are used for Fine Art prints, stock and the advertising market. Besides the gallery, her images can also be viewed at Mugsy's restaurant. |
